Alpha Genomics Private Limited organized Two days Hands on Training Workshop on Small Genome Next Generation Sequencing Data Analysis on 17-18 April, 2019 at its Head Office in Islamabad. The workshop was attended by students, faculty and scientists belonging to various institutions of the country. Resource person, Dr. Ibrar Ahmed, presented the overview of NGS and elaborated it applications in Molecular Biology while Talha Malik (Bioinformatician) conducted Hands on and Data analysis sessions. He talked about different Operating Systems, Analysis Tools, Quality Assessment, Genome Alignment, Genome Assembly, NGS Data Resources and Data Analysis in Galaxy, Genome annotation and Phylogenetic Analysis.
